Winter HAF 2021

As the holidays approach we have a cracker in store for you, not only will you receive expert tutoring, we provide the equipment & we will be providing a hot lunch along with information on healthy eating and nutrition in the form of worksheets and discussions. We have trips and Art planned for you. All you have to do is, be on or eligible for Free School Meals, Live or go to School in Wandsworth and complete our two stage registration process.

We Have 4 amazing events planned for our Winter HAF 2021. We drop in with:

Given the nature of our Trips and the skill levels required to safely have fun we have to insist no novices will be permitted to attend the skatepark trips, these event are recommended for individual that have completed our previous Easter HAF / Summer HAF Projects or have basic skatepark level proficiencies.

Important.

To be eligible for this project you must be in receipt of or eligible for free school meals or Live or go to School in Wandsworth. To register please fill in all fields below and you will be asked to then visit a centralised website where you must sign up, log in, and book make sure you have a smartphone with access to Whats app as a group will be created for the sessions. Please note: Due to the cost of each place Uninformed Absence will be charged @ £95.00 per child per trip missed. Any absence must be notified 48 hours in advance of the trip to allow us to offer the opportunity to someone else.

Disclaimer + T's & C's: Urban Sports or Extreme Sports as it is otherwise known always comes with a number of injury risks, and skateboarding is no different. The same injury risk goes for all other mainstream competitive team sports, the primary difference with skateboarding is the risk of injury can be higher depending on your goals as a skater and most of the injuries sustained over the time skateboarding will not be inflicted by anyone else so rest assured. Safety is our primary concern so during our sessions it is imperative that all learners wear all of the safety equipment provided at all times and follow the instruction of the tutors, although this will not remove the risk of injury it will significantly reduce the number and level of injuries sustained. Engaging in this activity will be undertaken at your own risk. In the event of an injury it will be treated where possible, logged and you shall be informed on collection, in the event of a serious injury you will be contacted at the nearest opportunity. By checking the box I (we) am (are) hereby declaring that I (we) have read, understood, accepted and agreed to the above text and accept the risks associated with Urban Sports (skateboarding or inline skating) mentioned above. I (we) am (are) also providing my (our) consent for Urban Studio Sessions and Michael Mapp Photography taking photographs and videos of my (our) child(ren) within the club setting and at our events. Some of these images will be for use as advertising for our services and events images and videos will be posted to our social media accounts (twitter, facebook, instagram, linked in), further online use will include being posted on our website and on various parent sites and forums and to funders. We will also display them on leaflets, business cards and posters when applicable and in print, local press, publications and videos will be displayed at our events along with on our social media accounts and external promotional websites. We will also be sharing all information collected with our funders (HAF) Initiative team and Wandsworth Council. We will not use images of your child in conjunction with their name if named purposes are required, we will use a name that is different from your child’s real name, unless we have your consent otherwise. We (Urbans Studio Sessions) will provide you with all of the equipment on loan for the duration of this project unless otherwise stated as the equipment we are loaning out is very expensive you will be expected to take responsibility for any loss or damage (outside of the normal wear and tear). You also also agree to pay the attributable fees associated with uninformed absence in line with cost's pertaining to the trip per place taken and not fulfilled as mentioned above..
